ThreeOne Studios partners with creative agencies to turn great design into fast, production-ready websites. We develop at roughly one page per day, giving your team the speed to take on more work without compromising the quality of the build. And because we work within your existing stack—from Webflow and Framer to Next.js and Astro—you stay in your workflow, while we handle the development.

A freelance portfolio you play, not just scroll
Four days of a wedding, told as one story
Stepping up a seed company’s brand, without the flash
Concept, design and build of a retro video game portfolio for freelance frontend developer Shakanksh Sinha, recognised with an Awwwards Honorable Mention three weeks after the first commit.
Shakanksh works as a freelance frontend developer who joins agencies and teams as a dedicated member, for one monthly fee. His portfolio had one job: to stand out to the people hiring him, and to stand out on Awwwards.
Researching other developer portfolios showed the problem: almost all of them looked the same. Dark hero, big name, project grid. To get noticed, the site had to be something visitors would remember, not another variation of the template.
02
Our approach
Turning a portfolio into a game
The idea was to treat the whole site as a retro video game. The look draws on the pixel-art RPGs of old handheld consoles, and the profile is presented like a trading card, complete with stats, an ability, a weakness and a resistance.
Every section was renamed in the game’s language. About becomes Stats (“The Player”), projects become Missions, pricing becomes the Store and the FAQ becomes the Codex. Even the copy plays along: “Protagonist loaded.”, “What’ll it be, partner?”.
Under the theme, the content is still what a hiring team needs: who he is, what he works in, what clients say, what it costs and how to get started.
The profile as a trading card, with client testimonials dealt on either side
03
The solution
A Next.js site with GSAP, Motion and Lenis driving the interactions. Concept, design and development by Shakanksh, from first commit to Awwwards recognition in three weeks.
Key features
Game boot-up: a pixel loading bar, then a battle scene where a knight faces a boss and a dialogue box waits for you to press Tab (or tap on mobile) to continue.
Trading card profile: the character card and testimonial cards deal in and flip as you scroll.
A Store you can shop with the keyboard: pricing plans are shop items with hotkeys. Press Q or E to buy a plan.
Pixel page transitions between pages, a custom cursor and smooth scrolling throughout.
A 404 that stays in character: “Quest not found”, with a button to return to base.
A separate mobile hero, so the game works just as well on a phone.
Pricing as a shop: the Indie Plan and the AAA Plan

Awwwards Honorable Mention
May 21, 2026
3 weeks
From first commit to Awwwards
The site launched in May 2026 and earned an Awwwards Honorable Mention, three weeks after the first line of code. Its entry animation, card flip and 404 page are featured as elements on its Awwwards page.
Anmol and Ayushman’s wedding ran across four days and four ceremonies: the Tilak, the Haldi, the Sangeet and the wedding itself. They wanted one place where family and friends could relive all of it, not a shared drive full of folders.
The site had to feel personal and rooted in tradition, give each ceremony its own character, and make close to a hundred photographs feel like a story rather than a gallery.
02
Our approach
We treated the site like a wedding album you scroll through. Each ceremony became a chapter with its own colour: soft pink for the Tilak, turmeric yellow for the Haldi, silver for the Sangeet and lavender for the Shaadi.
Every chapter opens with its name in Devanagari alongside the English, followed by a short note on what the ritual means, so guests from both families could follow along.
Within each chapter, photos are grouped by moment (the Tilak puja, the havan, the aarti, the couple’s entry, the dance battle, the flower shower, the varmala) to keep the order of the day.
Each ceremony opens with its own colour, title and story
03
The solution
A Next.js site with smooth, scroll-driven storytelling built on GSAP ScrollTrigger and Lenis.
Key features
Scroll to move through time: vertical scrolling drives horizontal photo reels, so each moment unfolds frame by frame.
Colour on focus: photos rest in black and white and bloom into colour as they move to the centre of the screen, pulling the eye to one memory at a time.
Bilingual chapters: Hindi titles with English translations for every ceremony and moment.
Responsive: every chapter is designed to work as well on a phone as on a laptop.
Photos turn to colour as they reach the centre

The results
The couple now has a keepsake they can share with a single link: four days, close to a hundred photographs and every ritual explained, in a site that feels as warm as the celebration itself.
Stepping up a seed company’s brand, without the flash
A full redesign and rebuild for Tropica Seeds, a Bangalore vegetable seed company stepping up its brand: a plain, fast, mobile-first B2B site with an approval-only area for wholesale customers.
Tropica Seeds has been breeding hybrid vegetable seeds in Bangalore since 1997. The company was going all in on its next phase of growth, but its website was stuck in the past: plain, basic and designed like it was the early 2000s. It did nothing to represent the brand Tropica had become.
As the company stepped up, its brand needed to step up with it. Tropica came to us for a full redesign and development, with a clear set of needs:
A site that looks like a serious, modern seed company and earns trust at first glance.
A part of the site that only wholesale and bulk customers can access, with Tropica deciding who gets in.
Products, news and documents the in-house team can update without a developer.
All of it working for its real audience: farmers, distributors and wholesalers across India, mostly on mobile, and often not very tech savvy.
02
Our approach
A conscious choice: no animations
We could have filled the site with fade-ins and scroll effects. We chose not to, on purpose. The people visiting this site are farmers, wholesalers and distributors. They don’t need flashy motion to decide whether to buy seeds, and for someone who isn’t tech savvy, things moving on their own can feel like a glitch and push them away.
Cultural context mattered too. Tropica’s first audience is farmers in India, many of them on budget phones and patchy connections. Every animation would have cost performance on exactly the devices that mattered most.
In our experience, B2B websites convert best when the content is left plainly to do the talking. So the brief we set ourselves was simple: plain, pretty and functional.
Pretty, without the noise
The step up in brand comes from the basics done well: large field photography, a calm serif, a deep green palette and generous space. Every page is structured around what a farmer, distributor or wholesaler is actually looking for.
The brand steps up through photography, type and space, not motion
03
The solution
A fast, mobile-first Next.js website with content managed in Sanity and a gated area for wholesale customers built on Clerk. Designed and built end to end in four months.
Key features
Approval-only wholesale access: anyone can sign up, but no one gets into the Bulk Products page and its restricted documents automatically. Tropica’s team reviews each account and approves who gets access, so it stays reserved for their wholesale and bulk customers.
Species-led catalogue: buyers start from a crop (tomato, eggplant, cucumber, watermelon and 11 more) and drill into its hybrids.
Product pages with real specs: disease resistance and tolerance, flesh colour, fruit shape and size, and suggested culture, plus a downloadable spec sheet for each variety.
Proven in the Fields: written and video stories from distributors and growers.
News, downloads and careers: R&D articles, the product catalogue as a PDF, and application paths for full-time roles, associates and interns.
Built for phones: light pages with nothing in the way, so they load quickly on the devices most visitors use.
Every variety gets a product page with agronomic specs and a downloadable spec sheet
04
The results
Tropica now has a website that matches the company it is becoming: modern, credible and easy to use for everyone it serves, from a farmer checking a variety’s disease tolerance to a distributor downloading the catalogue. The wholesale area stays in Tropica’s hands, and the team publishes products and news on their own from Sanity.
